Please help us to plan for the upcoming school year by registering early as spaces are limited. Financial Aid packets are now available in the school office. Get Acquainted Night On Wednesday, August 20, SJB School will open its doors for the annual Get Acquainted Night. From 4:00-6:00pm all classrooms will be open, and students/parents can navigate the buildings, meet the teachers, and drop school supplies in classrooms. From 4:00-6:30pm, parents can stop by the church hall/basement to make payments (materials fee and first tuition payment are due), check lunch orders, or ask any additional questions. The first half day of school is Thursday, August 21. All students will attend from 8:00-11:30am. There will be no before/after school care on this date. All Pre-K students (regardless of usual date of attendance) are invited to attend on this first day. The first full day of school will be Friday, August 22. |

St. John Berchmans Playgroup During the summer, our playgroup will continue to meet on Tuesdays from 10:00-11:30am. Update: Our new wood floors have been installed! SJB Basketball Camp Students entering grades 5-8 for the fall are eligible to participate in the 2008 SJB Basketball Camp. Camp is open to boys and girls and will run from 9:00am-12:00pm (gym will be open at 8:30am). Please click here to download the necessary forms for this year's camp. SJB Teachers Attend Catholic Chicago Exhibit Recently, SJB teachers had a chance to preview the "Catholic Chicago" exhibit at the Chicago History Museum. Teachers learned about the history of Catholicism in Chicago and earned Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) for their participation in this program. |

Walk-a-Thon Builds Community Spirit at SJB On Friday, October 12, SJB students, teachers, and parents marched up and down Logan Boulevard for the 7th annual Walk-a-Thon.
