Program Description

Our program’s goal is to teach and nurture the whole child socially, emotionally, academically, and physically. We use the children’s curiosity and creativity to build new skills and further their growth and development.

Main Themes/Skills

Religion
Students are introduced to the different elements of the Catholic religion through prayers, bible stories, and other religious artifacts. Students learn about various Catholic holidays with hands on activities. Christian values are integrated into all areas in our classroom.

Language Arts/Social Skills
Students develop language and social skills through circle time, songs, story time, story dictation and games. They build self-esteem by practicing self-care and self-respect.

Math
Students learn one-to-one correspondence, matching, counting (1-31), recognizing and learning to write numbers, the concept of more or less, comparing numbers and the size of objects, shapes, patterns, and colors.

Science
Students explore using magnets, cooking, observing, measuring and predicting and by using their five senses. These activities are done in small groups and individually.

Art
Art is integrated into all subjects within the curriculum. Students have the chance to create art using different mediums. They love when they get their chance to paint at the easel!
